I’ve enjoyed several volumes in Susan Hayes’s The Drift: Astek Station series and was pleasantly surprised to discover her Nova Force spin-offs. By random chance, I happened to read book 2, Operation Cobalt first and enjoyed enough to pick up volume 1, Operation Phoenix. I have not finished, but it’s a freebie!
