InD’Scribe is only two weeks away and it is super exciting, so I couldn’t resist another pre-convention post with all the latest information.
Not only does there promise to be a record reader turnout, but I’ll be mingling with amazing New York Times and USA Today besting selling authors, several of who have agreed to participate in my Thursday afternoon panel discussion on what makes a steamy read hot. My fellow panelists:
Marc Couarcaud writes the Jenns Cove Eco-romance series under the pen-name as MARC SANDERSON. The series features mystery, suspense, romance, and respect for the environment. He’s also an editor, reviewer and occasional article writer for InD’tale Magazine. A fan of the outdoors, when he’s not writing he can be found hiking or volunteering with the Morro Bay National Estuary Program.
Susan Griscom is a USA Today Bestselling and Award winning author. She writes paranormal and contemporary romance – steamy and sexy are the way they usually turn out. She’s a huge fan of superheroes and bad boys confronted with extraordinary forces of nature, powers, and abilities beyond the norm mixed with hot, blow-your-socks-off romance.
Lexi Post is a New York Times and USA Today best-selling author of romance inspired by the classics. From hot paranormals to sizzling cowboys to hunks from out of this world, Lexi provides a sensuous experience with a “whole lotta story.”
Sawyer Stone writes all kinds of books under all kinds of names. The world needs more stories about quirky characters falling in love.
Susan Tisdale is a USA Today Bestselling Author, storyteller and cheeky wench. She writes Scottish historical romance/fiction, with honorable and perfectly imperfect heroes and strong, feisty heroines. And bad guys she kills off in delightfully wicked ways.
Friday, is the world building workshop where I will do my best to provide a glimpse into the challenges of constructing an alternate reality that is both engrossing and coherent.
Saturday is the book fair and book signing where I will be sharing a table with author Reina Torres. Reina’s novels feature Scottish Lairds, Medieval Knights, Regency Gents, Rough and Tumble Cowboys, or handsome modern Heroes. She loves them all! There was always another hero and heroine to follow through page after page of breathless love! In one of those twists that belong in a novel, Reina and I are new friends and live at opposites ends of the USA; Maine and Hawaii.
And, of course, there are dozens of other sessions and activities that offer insights on writing and publishing from bestselling authors. InD’Scribe offers single day tickets for readers who want to attend a specific session or meet a favorite author. And for those who just like to read, there’s a free admission book fair on Saturday. For the first time, there will be Twelve Systems Chronicles swag ~ no purchase necessary, just come by the table.
